Who is Judas Iscariot?
Judas Iscariot was one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ and one of the original disciples of God. He was the whistle blower (a betrayer), the one who for the love of money betrayed Jesus Christ and showed the Chief priests and Pharasees where they could find Jesus to arrest him. After he sold Jesus to the Chief priests for money so Jesus could be crucified, that money (blood money, dirty money, iniquity money) was used to buy a field which is known till this day as the "Akel Dama" meaning "Field of Blood". For more details read John 18: 1-9 and Acts 1: 15-19.
Who is then a Judas? How can we identify the Judas spirit?
A Judas is someone who is a deceiver, a sell out, a hater, a seller of people, someone who is evil, an instrument of the devil, a false accuser, he is someone who does evil for selfish gain, a thief and a robber, someone who will do anything for money; a lover of prosperity more than truth, and a drinker of human blood (a blood shedder, a killer of his fellow brother or sister). He loves to be in control of money or put in charge of money so that he can steal from the money and use it for his own gain and interest. Judas is someone who is unrepentant and his heart is hardened. He can be positioned at the top, he is often close to the head, master or leader, because this gives him an all access to the leader's life, dealings, affairs and whereabout.
Judas is a deceiver because he was not easily identified among the children of God. He walked with them, eat with them, hanged out with them yet none of the disciples knew who he really was because he had a form of godliness. The disciples were deceived by his service to God though his heart was far away from God. Neither one of them were able to identify who he really was, what he was capable off, and what his intentions were, even though he was among them. None could identify him because his ways were cunning. Read John 13: 18-30 for the full details.
Judas is an instrument of the devil because it is written in John 13:2 "And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray Him." And it is also written in John 13: 27 "Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him, "what you do, do quickly". The bible tells us here that satan entered Judas Iscariot and he become an instrument used for destruction by the devil.
He is a false accusser as shown in John 18: 5. He stood with those who accussed Jesus falsely.
He is unrepentant and his heart is hardened as seen in John 13: 18-30. Even when Jesus said to him "what you do, do quickly", nothing in his mind or conscience told he what he was doing was wrong and he should stop it. Even though Jesus had openly said to all of them that one of you will betray me, Judas Iscariot still had no respect for the WORD that Christ spoke. His thirst for money blinded him. He allowed his heart to be so hardened that he didn't repent for the evil in his heart but rather allowed it to take over him and manifest. I tell you beloved, what the devil meant for evil for you God will turn it around for your good. Amen.
You must refuse to become a Judas at all cost. Refuse to be an instrument for the devil's use. Don't allow the devil to use you to destroy others. If you have been a Judas in the past or have availed yourself in the past to be used by the devil, it's not too late, today repent and ask the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins. And He will forgive you. Then ask the Lord to abide with you and use you for His glory. Amen.

I know we don't hear this message being preached often enough that the servants, sons and daughters of our Lord Jesus Christ have the grace given them to forgive sins. Yes, Jesus said it Himself as written in John 20:23 "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained." I believe such authority is given to the faithful, true, pure and dedicated believer of our Lord Jesus Christ. I say this because Jesus was speaking to His disciples (those who truly believed in Him) and after He had breathed on them and said to them "Receive the Holy Spirit" in John 20:22, He gave them the authority to forgive people their sins. So now you have to ask yourself who is considered a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ? Will Jesus call you a true disciple of His? If so, we have the grace as children of God to forgive people's sins here on earth. Jesus allows you to forgive sins in His name. Amen.
Let's now examine the audience of Jesus Christ to whom He gave the authority to forgive sins. Reading from John 20:21, Jesus said "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." This tells me that this is a disciple or believer who is answering the call of God to be sent to do the works of Christ. This is a believer living a godly life; one who is truly obeying the WORD and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ and living Christ-like. Secondly, going back to verse 22, this disciple or believer has been filled with the Holy Spirit. Not a disciple operating under the influence of a demonic spirit or a satanic anointing. Yes, there are several people now in our generation operating with a satanic anointing (power they have acquired from the devil) in the church and you have to be careful as a believer which servant of God or disciple you entrust your life too. Jesus said in Matt 7: 15-23 that by their fruits (the things they do, the things they partake in, the things they produce and the things they say) you shall know them. This means that you will be able to identify the false disciples of Jesus Christ by their fruits. Amen. Having said this, know that there are also true servants of Jesus Christ out there shepherding the flock of God. Just pray to the Lord Jesus for direction and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and direct you to the right disciple and church. Amen.
Though our Lord Jesus Christ has given the grace and the authority to His true disciples to forgive people their sins, you don't have to live in fear, doubt or with the guilt and burden of your past sins because a Pastor or a child of God refuses to forgive your sins. You don't have to live in fear that your sins have not been forgiven you because no servant or disciple of Jesus Christ has ever told you that your sins are forgiven you. You can cry out to our Lord Jesus Christ directly and ask Him to forgive you your sins and He will do that. Jesus said in Matt 11:28 "Come to Me all you who labor (weary) and are heavy laden (burdened), and I will give you rest." Amen. Beloved, the Blood of Jesus has set you free from sin and sorrow. Cry out to Jesus today and He will answer you and set you free. Go and sin no more. Amen.

Sometimes a believer may be attacked and there is no deliverance minister close by or available immediately to assist the believer. We therefore encourage you to do a personal deliverance yourself if you are not afraid. Weak demons and weak strongholds can be expelled through this personal deliverance prayer points but some stubborn and strong demons will need prayer and fasting, the help of other Christians who carry the right anointing, and the assistance of deliverance ministers. Never allow a demon to stay in your body, the longer the demon remains in your body, the more it will fortify itself in your body. Get help immediately or as soon as possible.
STEPS TO PERSONAL DELIVERANCE
Start with praise worship. Sing songs to praise God and to worship God.
Confess these deliverance scriptures out loud. You can add additional deliverance scriptures from the bible if you want.
2 Tim. 4:18 has this to say:
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
You must at least memorize this one - 2 Tim. 4:18.
Break covenants and curses to destroy their legal hold. You can pray a simple prayer like this:
I break any curse working against me or I break any covenant working against me, in the name of Jesus.
Simple prayer with much result.
Bind all the spirits associated with those covenants and curses like this:
I bind all the spirits attached or connected to the curses and covenants I have just broken, in the name of Jesus.
Lay one hand on your head and the other on your stomach or navel and begin to pray like this:
Holy Ghost fire, burn from the top of my head to the sole of my feet, in the name of Jesus.
Begin to mention every organ of your body; kidney, liver, intestine, blood, etc. You must not rush at this level. Lay your hands on areas that the Spirit of God leads you to. Do not be afraid if you notice that you are swaying or staggering, etc.
Then begin to saturate yourself with the blood of Jesus. You do this by saying:
Blood of Jesus, enter into my spirit, soul and body.
Next you say:
I drink the blood of Jesus.
This must continue until you have a release in your spirit to stop.
It is now, that you are able to demand firmly, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that any spirit that is not of God should leave you. You demand it forcefully like this:
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I come against all you hidden spirits and I bind your activities in my life. You can no longer hide below the surface because I now recognize what you have been doing; release me, in the name of Jesus.
If sickness is the problem, address it and say,
You spirit of infirmity, I speak to you directly, get out of my life now. I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, come out and go now. Go out with every breath by the power of the Holy Spirit. I prevail over you, in the name of Jesus.
At this point, you stop talking; open your mouth and nose and begin to breath in and out. Take about three to seven deep breaths, and expel them forcefully through your mouth and nose. You may be surprised that strange things will begin to happen. Repeat this stage again and again. This will help you to flush out any deposit or impurity within your body. You may notice that you are coughing, yawning, sneezing, sweating or shedding tears, but continue and do not loose your concentration.
When you have finished the expulsion stage, you then ask for a fresh in-filling of the Holy Spirit and close the session with praises.
When you are attacked in your dream, rise up and go through the stages I have already mentioned. (Our book "Victory Over Satanic Dreams" can help you further.)
Self-deliverance keeps you from getting sick; it removes every evil seed of the enemy; it charges your body with fire. It uproots evil plantations and builds up your confidence.
Every night before you go to bed, you must remember these three important prayer points.
1. Pray that the walls of fire should surround you. The Bible says:
For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her (Zec. 2:5).
2. Pray for cover with the blood of Jesus.
Rev 12:11: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
3. Also pray that the angels of God should surround you.
Ps 34:7: "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them."
No matter how sleepy you are, make sure you pray these three prayer points every night.
There is no reason why self-deliverance should not be effective. However, if the person seeking deliverance is under stubborn demonic control or hereditary strongman and lacks sufficient faith or authority to defeat the oppressors or living in any known sin, the evil spirits will defend what they think is their right.
One final word of caution. For a person to be delivered, he must want deliverance. Self deliverance must not be done because of pride, shyness, the fear of possible public embarrassment, etc. Your motive for engaging in self-deliverance has to be pure.
Remember, deliverance is a process and the length of time it takes depends on several things:
1. The length of time the spirit has stayed inside a person,
2. The strength and reinforcement of the spirit,
3. The experience and degree of anointing upon those who are ministering the deliverance,
4. The willingness of the person being delivered to be free,
5. The knowledge of the word of God and your level of hatred for sin.
For self-deliverance to be very effective, a great deal of self-discipline is necessary.
Also, remember that bondage can be weak or strong. A weak hold can be broken quickly, whereas a stronghold may take a longer time. You will not realize the strength of a bondage until you faithfully and persistently work on it. You must remember that a foothold can graduate to a stronghold if left unaddressed.

My fellow saints, it is not only Jesus Christ who lives inside us but God also is living in our bodies. Wow! What a blessing, an honor and a privilege that the Creator of the whole Universe is also living in people who have believed and accepted Jesus Christ.
Jesus said in John 17:22-23 "And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me"
If Jesus lives inside of us and if God lives inside of Jesus who is living in us, then it means that God also lives in us... Hallelujah! Now when you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit also comes to live in us. So at the end of the day, the believer doesn't have only Jesus living in them, but we have the whole Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit) living in us... Wow! Now you can understand why the devil is always fighting to keep people from becoming believers. Because when we become true believers, the entire Trinity comes to live in us as well and we become too strong for the devil to defeat as children of God. Wow! Wow! Wow! We need to keep winning souls; that is the way to empower human beings to live a victorious life. Amen!
